The Straight to Teaching team will contact you to explore your needs and the needs of your school and to ensure that your school understands the commitment they must make to effectively support you as you progress towards QTS.
You will be asked to complete a detailed application form. This application will then be processed and, if your are eligible and suitable for the programme, you will be offered a place.
Once you have accepted, you will be assigned a Pathway Tutor who will arrange an Initial Needs Assessment (INA) visit. During this initial visit your individual needs will be assessed and shortly afterwards a QTS preparation plan will be established which will indicate how long it is likely to take you to reach the teachers’ standards.
